ON SAVITRIThe titles in SABDA's section on Savitri approach this 24,000-line epic by Sri Aurobindo in various ways. These range from simple summaries of all or parts of the epic to complex discussions of such features as its mantric poetic qualities, its exemplification of what Sri Aurobindo calls the future poetry, and descriptions of the mystical experiences and yogic realisations of its protagonists.Some of the titles are scholarly in nature but most aim to provide the reader with a basic understanding of the poem's structure and philosophy, and an appreciation of its poetic lustre.
