About Deliberations on The Life Divine: Volume XII (Book II Part II: Chapters XX-XXII)
In this twelfth volume of Dr Reddy’s transcribed and edited talks on Sri Aurobindo’s The Life Divine, the author covers chapters twenty to twenty-two from Book II, Part II. These three chapters are interlinked. In the first of these, Sri Aurobindo establishes the philosophical and logical necessity of the existence of the psychic being, of a central being, the personality that goes from birth to birth. The other two chapters examine the existence of other worlds that support the process of spiritual evolution and the concepts of karma, the soul, and immortality. Each chapter studies the main arguments in brief and is followed by lecture notes that encapsulate the contents in outline form.
