This eleventh volume of Dr Reddy’s transcribed and edited talks on Sri Aurobindo’s The Life Divine covers chapters eighteen and nineteen from Book II, Part II. Dr Reddy introduces the main philosophical arguments in these chapters that deal with the process of evolution—how the same principles of the evolutionary movement that led from the past to the present can be applied to the development from the present level to the supramental level. It examines the nature of ignorance to determine how the spiritual evolution is an ascent out of the sevenfold ignorance into the integral knowledge. Each chapter studies the main arguments in brief and is followed by lecture notes that encapsulate the contents in outline form.
