About Sri Aurobindo and His Ashram
Intended as a brief introduction to the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, this book includes basic, easily accessible information on Sri Aurobindo, the Mother, and their teaching, and on the Ashram, the Sri Aurobindo International Centre of Education, and Auroville. Arranged in nine chapters by the editors, the texts of the first four chapters were written by Sri Aurobindo, beginning with his life sketch. The remaining texts were written by the editors, based on the works of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother and other sources. Relevant photographs give a sense of the life and activities engaged in by the residents and students.
